We Crochet Feminism is a live workshop performance where participants crochet together to translate feminist messages into Morse code. This project explores the idea of a crochet book inspired by the use of knitting as a tool of wartime espionage.

Despite the end of the war at the time, the struggle for gender equality persists. In a collaborative approach, participants are invited to design their own crochet pages. The crochet squares contain feminist messages which are then assembled to form a book-scarf, to be worn daily, symbolizing perseverance in the daily struggle. Each participant's crocheted artwork becomes a page in a large scroll book.

It will be folded, stained, crumpled, and overlaid with messages from everyday life.
